Finding the Best Deal

Trying to teach my boys to watch for “sale” prices and to make sure they understand not all stores have the same prices. We went and priced 30 regular items we use at 6 different stores at their regular prices .... these Tide Pods ranged from $18.88 to $23.99 for the same sized container. 😜

Great life skill to teach. My boys have had to do this with Boy Scouts. It's a basic skills that so many people don't know.

I have never been big on pricing my grocery items - I just buy what I like most of the time and shop in the same store. I have always thought (selfishly) that I wanted my time more than the money I would save by looking about.

@milaniet @homeschoolmom @lindasees @joansmor I was never one to shop prices either @joansmor, I just went where ever it was convenient, but it was amazing the difference on some of the items. I still try to support the smaller independent family owned stores for my meat, fruit and vegetables, whenever possible.
