We took a drive to the old historic town of Deadwood. It was established in 1876 during the goldfish. Infamous characters such as Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane roamed the streets. Wild Bill was shot dead in this saloon while playing poker. The poker hand he was holding when he was killed contained a pair of black Aces and black eights - to this day that hand is known in the poker world as the dead man’s hand.
