When the winds of March are wakening the crocuses and crickets,
Did you ever find a fairy near some budding little thickets,...
And when she sees you creeping up to get a closer peek
She tumbles through the daffodils, a playing hide and seek.

Thanks for taking time to view! -- Rudbeckia hirta, commonly called black-eyed Susan
@kareenking@ribbet9 Thanks Kareen and Candace for the favs. It's the beginning of a blanket flower and the tiny wisps at the top are seeds from my cottonwood tree, which are blowing everywhere at the moment.
Thanks for your views, comments and favs on my Peeking photo. After scrolling through the photos I took that day, I just realized that this wasn't my photo of my blanket flower but rather a Rudbeckia hirta, commonly called black-eyed Susan. Sorry to mislead you!
