Nestled

“Nestled deep within the hills and valleys of our deepest desires, we are already everything we wish to be. Our infinite potential hugging our interior landscape like a hazy mist, in the way that low clouds hug the earth. Patiently waiting for us to paint them onto the brilliant blue skies of our reality.”

I haven't posted a grasshopper photo lately and they are still everywhere. This guy was nestled in a zinnia and, although his eyes appear open since he has no eyelids, I could have sworn he was napping. He patiently allowed me to take his picture and was perfectly content nestled in the petals. Thanks for viewing!
Fantastic shot!

OMG! This creeps me out!! I know they cling to you if they jump on you and I freak out when something clings to me, "especially" insects!!!! He looks like he's about to jum, to me! LOL LOL I would have to take this with a telephoto lens at about a quarter mile away!! LOL LOL
All that said, this is an amazing capture and the details are fantastic! Beautiful flower too! Gotta go now before it jumps!!!! FAV!

Smart G.Hopper, napping in the sweet smelling softness of a summer flower. Funny, I'd never thought about these insects not having eyelids nor the ability to block out the sun for a nap. Great pic, btw.

P.S. Thank you very much for the generous compliment shared on my GRT Sprocket shot. It took a number of arrangements and reshoots before I finally picked the photo to post that day. (I about drive myself crazy some days.)
