Grandma's Butterfly by genealogygenie

Grandma's Butterfly

Today is my maternal grandmother's birthday. She got her angels wings in 1998 but If she were here to celebrate, it would be her 114th birthday.

“How does one become a butterfly?" she asked. "You must want to fly so much that you are willing to give up being a caterpillar.”

I don't think it was a coincidence that this beautiful butterfly was nearby when I went out to trim my butterfly bush.
Beautiful flower, butterfly, and remembrance.
