Absence

“Absence is a house so vast that inside you will pass through its walls and hang pictures on the air.” ~ Pablo Neruda

This historic house is currently for sale but in need of much work. Only two families have lived in it since it was built in the early 1900's, one of them being descendants of Rev. Samuel Adair, brother-in-law of Abolitionist John Brown. Sadly it has been vacant now for several years.
Lovely textures, but sad the house is in such disrepair. It deserves better.

A gorgeous shot of this place with the age and textures showing so well. It is beautiful. It does look like a lot of work though.

Nice capture. I'd like to think anyone buying this would try and save it.
