My get-pushed partner challenged me to take an abstract photo in black and white. While cleaning out our garage, I found a tire that one son brought home as a souvenir from a NASCAR race. He had a pit pass and that allowed him access to one of the many worn out tires from the race. I liked the tread pattern and decided to use it for my abstract photo, with a little processing.
