Kansas Barn Quilt 1

I thought it would be fun to do a month of barn quilts for my extras album, so here is barn quilt number one. Hopefully the weather cooperates so I can be out and about!

A barn quilt is a large piece of wood that is painted to look like a quilt block. Even though the name implies that an entire quilt is painted onto the wood, it generally is only a single quilt block. The size of the squares vary, but usually, they measure 8 feet by 8 feet.

I gather they must be fairly common around your area - What a neat way to personalize your barn.
