Kansas Barn Quilt 5

Image 5 for the month of Kansas barn quilts.

north of Rantoul in Franklin County

The eagle represents a piece of Americana and the Farm Bureau sign below indicates the barn is on a century farm, meaning the same family owned the farm for at least 100 years.
Love this! I've gotten behind in my viewing and must catch up on your barn series!

Very cool, Kim. I'm enjoying your various treatments of barn quilts and the accompanying info. Being in the Midwest, too, I know about century farms. Amazing that interest and passion should extend over that many generations!

These quilt blocks have been fascinating - wasn't familiar with the Farm Bureau sign - that's fascinating.

Is the eagle [really] "quilt-able"?

@rhoing Parts would be appliqued rather than pieced.
