Kansas Barn Quilt Block 19

I started posting a month of barn quilts but didn't finish. I just found this barn quilt this weekend so now is as good a time as any to finish the month!

This is great - it begs the question does each barn have a specific block pattern and is that why they are called barn quilts?

@nicolecampbell They are called barn quilts because the idea originated when a quilt block design was painted on wood and hung on a barn. The design is up to the owner, and often represents a quilt made by a family member or it might have a pattern name that is significant.
