B&W Challenge #38 - The Love of my Life

The love/s of my life - my Mum and Dad on their wedding day, 3rd November 1961. Mum was 21, Dad was 23.

My Dad was not the love of my life but I was very, very close to my Mum and I would definitely say that she was and continues to be in her passing the greatest female influence I have had, plus the one that has demonstrated unconditional love.........so she is the Love of my Life for this challenge!
What a great tribute! And a sweet shot.

Aw what a lovely reminder of your Mum and Dad.

This looks like a photo taken in the UK not Australia, the houses look English.

@onewing Spot on Babs! My parents are English and they got married in London, before travelling to Australia as "$10 pound Poms"

How wonderful to have this photo! I too had an amazing mother, she made me who I am. Your lovely tribute mirrors what I would say about my mother. ❤️

I can totally see what you mean about your mum - we never loose our love for our mums no matter how long ago they died. They live within us forever. Beautiful tribute :)

I got briefly excited when my parents considered moving to Melbourne a few years earlier than yours.... father had a job offer. My mother said 'no'.... wouldn't leave her mother who lived nearby. Close thing... I might not have become interested in b&w photography as the Aussie colours could have turned my head!

@yrhenwr HAHAHAHA if you had lived in Australia you would have grown to love our colours!!!
