Doing birdie acrobatics!

I'm a week behind in posting my photos. Work has taken over my life!

This New Holland Honeyeater was flitting in and out of the native kangaroo paw plant. They like to put their beak right down into the flower and suck all the pollen out. This one was getting very close to doing that; in fact, I have another photo I will post another day where he is indeed beek first into a flower!
