It was our daughter's turn to bring home the "Shabbat Bag" this week from her school. Noam is a puppet that comes with the bag. You're supposed to write in his journal about what experiences he had with your family. As the non-Jew parent of a girl going to a Jewish school, I can tell you this was still a great idea and a total hoot. Our daughter had a great time showing us all of the things we were supposed to do, helping with the blessings, and having Noam meet all of her stuffed animals!
