Just found out my el-cheapo point-and-shoot camera, that I got from someone else and have no manual for, has a "Super Macro" mode which will focus at 1 inch! Just decided to play with it. This is a shot of a tiny (approximately 1 inch tall) figurine we have of an Aussie possum. Seems to work well!
