Sorry I haven't been posting recently. Life and taxes sort of got in the way. I have still been photographing every day, just haven't found the time to get things on-line.
I don't usually do much editing to my photos. But this one is a slight exception. This is an abstract piece i created from a photo of a curved wood-paneled wall in an asian restaurant near my home. The editing is actually minimal: The picture is rotated 90-degrees counter-clockwise; and I shifted the color balance so that the shadows were saturated blue and the hi-lights were more saturated yellow. (Although thanks to the lighting inside, they hi's were actually already quite yellow.)
Anyway, that's it. I find it quite futuristic, almost alien... or somehow suggesting a computerized, digitized world-scape. Or perhaps to you it suggests something different. I'd love to hear what you see!
