Snow on Pendle Easter Sunday 2016. by grace55

Snow on Pendle Easter Sunday 2016.

Well they did promise a white Easter, and we saw a great rainbow and there was thunder and lightning.
So that's what Pendle Hill looks like. We sell hundreds of the witches of Pendle figures in our shop but I've never been there. :)

It is also famous for The Quakers.
While walking on Pendle Hill in 1652, George Fox had a vision of a people to be gathered , as he put it, and he was inspired to start a religious non conformist group of Friends of Truth seekers, later called The Quaker movement.

I love snow but this did not last for very long and was more like hail.
There was dramatic thunder and lightening as well.

I have several good books about the Quakers.
I am a bit of a book worm, especially in the cold weather.
