I am a member of an active gardening group called Prospects. We volunteer to tend the local green spaces in our village. On Monday evening we planted up Parker Street corner, a play area and a nice place to sit when the sun shines.
Due to all the cut backs, we could lose ths precious space when a new housing estate is built in the Autumn. Fingers crossed we manage to keep it as a community garden.
