Me first! NO ME FIRST!!! by grannysue

Me first! NO ME FIRST!!!

Hungry, hungry babies. Mama bird has an insect in her mouth, the babies want to be fed. Everyone wants to be fed first, poor mama. Bet she is glad that they are grown and on their own now.

Thank you for all your comments and for the favs on the other picture of the mama and her babies. I have another one that I will post in my extras album if you want to check it out. It shows the insect inside the baby's mouth and he is still screaming for more food.
Thank you for looking.

This is a wonderful capture. The mother bird has to work hard to feed these hungry mouths.

They seem to have grown lots since the last picture unless it's just the angle ! Mum must be working hard !!

@happypat Just the angle and the close up. They are gone now and I miss them. Maybe next year the parents will nest in the same tree!

@ellen Thank you! I love these kingbirds. I was lucky enough to get more shots of some this year.

I can't believe this was shot using 800 ISO. I have the same camera, and whenever I shoot 800 ISO, it is not worth saving. I'm thinking you must use a Canon lens (I have a Tamron).
