Camo Toad

We finally got some rain after 40 days of 100+ degree weather and it brought this camouflaged toad out. He felt like he was well hidden. He was on some concrete and blended quite well with that, then hopped on to some leaves that had been blown down by the wind. It may look like a fall pic, but it is not. The leaves and trees are dying from lack of rain and watering.

Great camouflage! So glad you're getting some of our rain. Just a little bit of sunshine in return would be very welcome - but not at the temperatures you've been enduring!
