This is some type of Skipper Butterfly on an Indian Blanket wildflower. I started to crop it on down, but decided I liked the barbed wire, the shadow on the stem and the blurred wildflower images in the shot. You may want to view it large.

Love the composition of this picture and I'm so pleased to see a close-up of this flower as we don't have them here and I've only seen them en masse so far here on 365. Great dof, too.
Beautiful shot. Indeed it's good you didn't crop the wire, it gives a nice contrast to the soft butterfly. Maybe the skipper is a bit overexposed, I tried to reduce the exposure, but don't now if it's an improvement: http://jaapmeijer.com/images/2012/Linda.jpg
