We took a back road on the way home from dinner this evening. I noticed two horses trotting along looking like they were feeling pretty good. The heat was not as bad this evening as it has been. Naturally, I had the wrong lens on the camera but had to go with what I had to capture the shots. These mares turned out to be big old pets, they came up to the fence wanting attention. They were so sweet and pretty.

@vickisfotos@clmiller Thank you! More shots taken at sunset. I was trying to take a short cut to get somewhere to take a sunset photo. Parked on the edge of the road to take the horse shots and my fuel warning light came on. Had to go to fill the car up. Maybe I will get a sunset shot another day!
