These horses just will not co-operate. They stay just far enough away for me not to get the shot I want. When they get closer to the fence, it is in an area where there is no place to park. This country road is has lots of twists and turns, hills and valleys and no shoulders. The only hope is to park on an adjoining road and hope they get close enough for a good shot. These are recent additions to this large ranch.
Thank you for viewing and commenting. Still playing catch-up on commenting on your shots, will get around to everyone's shots soon.
Horses are like that Linda. Cows on the other hand will come over to see what you are doing. I think the white one with the black mane would be a great one to fill the frame.
@skipt07 I agree on the white one. I have been trying to get a close shot of her since she showed up in that pasture. There are actually two white ones and one seems to be the leader as the other follow it. . It is an extremely large pasture runs for 3/4 to 1 mile lengthwise on the road side and I do not know how far back it goes, for it goes over a large hill. Never can tell whether they will be in view in the evenings when I am on the way home.
Gorgeous pov ....love the whole composition, Linda. They look beautiful in this setting and the lighting. No what you mean about parking ... so difficult sometimes. But you managed to get this perfectly.
Linda, I like this composition, though, so don't be too sad that they won't get closer. . .the way they are all in a line over the softly rolling hills is just lovely.
