This duck seems to have a misplaced partial top knot. I thought he was kind of cute and different.

Cool shot, Linda. I must say I have not seen a duck with feathers like this on the back of its head.

@darsphotos I have seen them with top knots (crested) when they have been mixed with at crested duck and are a hybrid. But never on the back of the head.

@grannysue I have seen the crested ones as well. It is interesting what we see when taking photos of waterfowl.
