Newborn Foal in Wildflowers

Spotted this newborn foal on my way to my daughter's today. He must have been born within the last couple of days, as neither of us saw him with the others on Tuesday. Thank you for viewing and commenting, I appreciate it.
Awwww such a cutie! Love all the little pick flowers too.

@edorreandresen Thank you. I do not know what the name of the pink flowers are, will have to investigate on the Texas Wildflower page. The mares in the field with him are really beautiful, only got a photo of two, there were three. Not sure which is his mother.

@lastrami_ Thank you for the comment and the fav. I will try to get a photo of him again in a week or so, he should be a bit more filled out then. I think another mare in the pasture might be expecting as well, unless she was his mom. She had a really big tummy.

@pyrrhula Thank you for visiting and your comments. Yes,the flowers do not last long. Which is another good reason to take photos of them while we can, to enjoy later.
