Merry Gold

This is one of my Marigold plants, they are all the same color.
Not much time for photo ops today, ran errands today, first my friend to do her shopping, then back to get my hubby to do ours in another town. Will be early to sleep tonight for me!

Beautiful. this is my first year planting Merry Golds. I love them but always thought I can get them in the fall. fall came and no Merry Golds in the nurseries. this year I made sure I bought them early in the season.

I used to grow 4000 every year and put them all in one row, it looked amazing, it took awhile to dead head.

marigolds do make wonderful displays

So pretty, I like the one that just has three petals showing because you don't realize how the individual petals are shaped seeing the whole flowers. The rich brown does show as well later either.

So beautiful! Marigold is a wonderful name for this flower, we call it Tagetes or Studentenblume, but Marigold sounds much better :)
