Provincial elections in the Netherlands today. I voted in my daughter's school, right when the children went home at 12:15. Plenty of kids running around the voting station, and many parents coming in to cast their vote. The people manning the voting station hardly had the time to eat the lunch that was prepared for them (the bread on the table). The grey dustbin in the foreground is the ballot box.
Ik had ongeveer hetzelfde idee, maar in ons stemlokaal in het dorpshuis zaten alleen drie wat oudere mensen achter een tafeltje en dat leverde geen leuk plaatje op.
@halkia: ja, en dan waren er in de directe omgeving (bejaardenhuis, sporthal en de andere basisschool) nog drie stembureaus. En dat voor een wijk met 7000 inwoners...
Groot stemlokaal, wij hadden maar twee hokjes.
