Last judgment

10.30 am: I took my youngest daughter to Municipal Museum De Lakenhal this morning. It's housed in a beautiful old building and I wish I could have taken more shots, but taking photos is forbidden in this museum.

Before I found that out I had already taken this shot of my child in front of Lucas van Leyden's famous triptych The Last Judgment (1527). Left is heaven, right is hell. I wish I'd captured the whole work but photographing toddlers is difficult enough as it is.
Still a brilliant photo! With another piece of art by Dick Bruna in the foreground ;-)

@realjaco We moeten binnenkort maar eens naar het Dick Bruna Huis :)

@smallenburg Ik doe mijn best! Maar de kunst valt nog niet zo in de smaak bij ons kleintje: de grote trap in de hal (die ze minstens vijftien keer heeft beklommen) was vele malen interessanter...
