8.38 am: Due to circumstances I've started travelling to work during rush hour several times a week for the time being. That takes some getting used to after not having commuted before 9 am since early 2001. It's much busier on the platform and in the train and there's a different kind of people travelling at this time - more office workers and less students and tourists.
Look at all the morning newspapers! Sad that now you're part of the rush hour mob. I leave work at 4 most days, before the madness, but if I stay until 5, I always regret it, I drive though, which is different. You get to people-watch, which can be fun at times. :-) Great shot!
The people are mostly absorbed in what they are doing, into their own little worlds of newspaper and phone. Very few noticing the world around them. They miss out on a lot of things that you see while taking photos.
