8.26 pm: Colourful balloons on a door in the nearby Kaiserstraat.
I did nothing but vegetate all day and forgot all about taking photos, so had to dash out for a short evening walk after dinner to get my daily shot.
The girls returned home late this afternoon. We enjoyed the silence while they were gone. Both girls have been extremely talkative lately. The eldest is going through the "why?"-stage and will not take "just because" for an answer. The youngest is learning new words at an alarmingly high rate and demands that we react to or repeat everything she says. As I spend my days at work listening intently and processing information too it was a very welcome break to just be and not having to listen. Silence is golden.
I agree with richard - great colours and comp! My son used to talk incessantly but now he's a teenager we're lucky to get the odd grunt - must be all that brain re-growth....
Wat een leuke vondst!:-) Ja, zonder stilte zou ik af en toe ook gek worden en ik heb alleen maar vier katten en Peter.........hoewel..... voor hoeveel kinderen tellen die eigenlijk????;-)))
I remember the "why?' phase, it can be kind of tough, but what I tried is to ask them "what do you think?" This way you don't have to worry that your answer isn't good enough. :-) Great processing on this! You will get through the talkative stage...:-)
great shot - I use the small children analogy in my work when we use a tool called 5 why! We aim to become small children again and question everything! It's easier with adults but it can be wearing with kids all day and everyday! bless them! Great shot BTW - great editing
