Lines

5.15 pm: The typical Dutch polder landscape with clean lines between The Hague and Leiden, as seen from my train window.

My day was rather hectic. I am as good as recovered from my flu but our elder child is ill now and cannot go to daycare meaning we can't follow our normal weekday routine. I couldn't get any rest at work either as we have started working with new software that has a huge effect on how we do our jobs. No falling back on routines there either.

Great colours here - hope things settle down soon. It's a tough time working with young kids. Mine used to wait until one of us (usually my husband) was working abroad and then fall ill. On special occasions they would be sick all over their beds in the night as well just ensure chaos!!
