8.19 am: We had a wonderful time in Rotterdam and spent most of it lazying about. This was the view we woke up to this morning - the river Maas (Meuse) that flows right through the city and the Erasmus bridge that crosses it, nicknamed the Swan. This must be the best view I've ever had from a hotel room.
