4.53 pm: Another hot and perfect summer day in Berlin. We visited the Mitte district (the old centre) in the morning, spent a considerable amount of time in a playground overlooking the river Spree then visited the Edward Burtynsky exposition in C/O Berlin.
The afternoon was spent in the nearby Volkspark Friedrichshain, where the girls played in a fountain while we ate some delicious Bratwurst. I stealthily took this photo of my husband downing a large bottle of water in the park.
