Introduction week

10.53 pm: It's mid August - time for the yearly introduction week for new University students.This evening all 2300 of them seemed to be cueing to get into Minerva, a notorious fraternity/sorority on Leiden's main street.

Started already?! My daughter hasn't got her results yet - I have a month before (hopefully) tearful goodbyes... Wish she'd gone to Leiden - we wouldn't be as poor!

Hopefully Birmingham - it has a very good Psychology Dept - but I'm sure Leiden is prettier!
