I do not know why, but I do have a fascination with shoes hanging from telephone or power lines. I see this all over the USA, in cities, small towns, along the interstate and on small country back roads. What statement is being made? probably one way of saying 'I was here' without writing it out. Worn shoes are very personal, they form to your feet and become comfortable and eventually wear out, although they are rarely signed with someone's name.
