Many families have a tradition of going to the Christmas tree lot the weekend of Thanksgiving to pick out their tree for the end of December holiday. I stopped by the local one and took this photo from inside the tent where the frosted trees are sold.
When you first walk onto the lot the smell of the fir trees immediately hit you and bring a smile to your face. As an adult the smile quickly fades as you see the prices. Easy to spend $100 for a tree these days, cheaper ones are available including the 3 foot trees that run $35.
