Today's photo is of the tower on the Carmelite Monastery in town. On a quiet day or when the breeze is just right I can hear the bells in the tower. This was built in 1917.
Prior to the monastery there was a ranch here. It is the starting place from 'The Call of the Wild'. By Jack London.
