Last weekend my brother and I took a tour of a distillery on the island of Alameda in the San Francisco bay. It is located in a old hanger that was part of the Naval base. This is a photo of one of the three stills that they use. The process is deceptively simple but takes quite a talent and experience to come up with something palatable.
