There is a strange colour to this image, almost like an aged oil painting. Is that how it was or have you processed it to give that effect and are these your intentions? If that was the lighting (which is quite flat) the image needs some adjustment with the shadows I think.
@marshwader yeah the colours have been altered slightly. the horizontal lines reminded me of landscapes from the film 'No Country For Old Men' so made the colours a bit like that
