i had this idea for about a month, at last one of friends agreed so here it is. I need to improve, this shot is very imperfect ( no time a bit busy with studies at the moment!!)
@viranod@lorihiro@robinwarner thank you @mikhasus adding the motion blur was quite tricky, if i discarded the motion blur the photo was looking plain and flat. as i said had no time perfecting it ! thanks for pointing.
This is a fantastic idea!
Heres my crit/advise on it:
the base image (city) is great for this, the person's image could use a little work though. When you make a composite like this you should consider the "realism" aspects of it. Even fantasy has rules!
Things to think about:
Where is he falling from? - Right now hes out in the open while there may be a ledge or maybe even pushed out of a plane, his falling angle does not reflect this.
Why? - The why in this case should reflect by the persons expression, is he scared that hes falling? OR maybe hes njoying it cause he just got super powers and wont die like a normal person would [:
Some other things i noticed: While its AWESOME that you considered the perspective, you only warped it in one way (mostly b/c of how the shot is flat if i had to guess) this looks weird and creates a "twinning" effect in his position (ie. both feet are EXACTLY the same position and this is not likely to happen, try having positioning the feet differently when/if you retake the shot)
Same thing with the arms.
Consider the camera angle of the original shot as well, and try your best to mirror it w/ the person's shot. This will help w/ distortion aspects.
I will say that you did a good job getting lighting acurate when you took the second shot of the person. Most people tend to overlook this causing the composite to just look "off". And your cutout is well done as well!

Great job overall, hope some of this helps!
