When i try something i get attached with it for sometime, like i was experimenting HDR photography a month back, now i see everything in HDR. This photo is a composite of two photos , the glow,is shot with a slightly longer exposure, the detail(only small amount) on the moon is shorter exposure and perfectly focused.
There's a halo 'round the moon.... (that's a song your shot just made me think of) - I love your lunar shots. If the skies are clear I'll try for one this weekend. And I know what you mean about seeing everything HDR, I did a few HDR's awhile back and I'm still seeing everything like it!
