Accidental Crow by heftler

Accidental Crow

I snapped this by accident while I was playing with my AF settings and looking at the crow. And I'm glad I did. The fractal branches, the beak mid-caw. He left soon after, to rejoin his murder.

It's also quite fitting to start the new year: "Symbolically, crows have commonly been a symbol of death, and the transformational process from the physical to the spiritual world. However, in spiritual language, death does not mean the physical act of dying; rather death represents change, transition, transformation, and new beginnings.

While crows represent death and dying, this also opens the way for new opportunities and ways to grow and evolve. In shamanism, the act of dying is the most heightened spiritual level you can experience, as it represents the death of the ego and superficial identity, and a remembrance of your highest essence.

Because of this, crows represent the ending and separation of one state of being that leads to the beginning of a higher spiritual existence. Oftentimes this can be a difficult and challenging period, full of grief, loss, and upheaval. This is why crows are usually associated with “negative” or “bad omen” energy. However, growth can only happen when we go through periods of challenges." [ https://crystalclearintuition.com/meaning-of-a-crow/]
