Spurge after rain

I have a bit of a thing about euphorbia, all types. Especially love the little black eyes of this variety. The light was going so opened up the aperture as wide as it would go. Perhaps I've overdone the short dof and would have been better to increase the ISO? Would welcome your thoughts.

I love these plants too! ( but didn't know the name) I love the contrast between the green of the old and new growth and the dotty eyes. Nice shot.
