Waiting for the train by helenm2016

Waiting for the train

It was pretty dark in the station so the shutter speed was slow and in my rush to take the shot before the train pulled in a bit of motion blur crept in. A shame because I like the Victorian design of the windows and the contrast of the cream stonework against the dark (red) brick that is characteristic of the area
Nice shot. Railway stations are rich pickings for photography and I always have a camera in my hand when waiting for a train. I did it again yesterday in fact, and posted this morning!

This is lovely despite the very slight blur Helen! A nice 'slice of life' with beautifully designed windows...

I love railway stations for photography, lots of opportunities. You will
have to go back again and take a photo of those gorgeous windows in colour.

Yes the windows are great and you composed it well.

@linnypinny @cherrymartina @kwind @kerosene @hermann @onewing @helenhall @lizhammond Thanks all very much. I doubt I'll be making it back to Stoke in a hurry to retake, but it's a lesson for the future to hold steady or shorten the shutter speed
