Stone cottages

Perhaps too pale a yellow for rainbow month but in keeping with my rural theme this week. Taken in the hamlet of Milldale in Dovedale.

All shades acceptable! I'm having trouble working out whether Im looking at a reflection of an opposite wall and steps. It must be so. I like this element that makes you look again.

@helenhall Exactly right. I thought the reflection of the blank wall gave the window a curiously blank slightly spooky look
