Fisherwoman

Nothing special as a shot but I was so struck by seeing a woman fisherperson that I crept among the reeds at the water's edge to get a shot of her. I don't think I have ever see a female fisherperson in the UK. Why is that I wonder?

There are a few fisherwomen around in Scotland, especially on big salmon rivers ...my husband would love for me to be one of them. For me though, I don't get it. I find it boring. Just plain boring. Give me a hike or a cycle ride any day. Nice sneaky capture though!
