My dad was an electrical engineer, and unfortunately had died before I emigrated here. I always wondered what he would make of the electrical stuff here. The month we arrived in 1998, was when the feed from the South Island to the North Island wasn't working. Auckland was relying on generators. We wondered what an earth we'd arrived to. LOL
