I am. by hellie

I am.

Happy Women's Day.
I read about this on the news this morning
I had never heard of it before. What is the setting and meaning of this bright photo?

You made me do some work. Here goes the first International Women's Day was in 1911. Women rallied to end discrimination and to have legal entitlements such as the right to vote, work and hold public office..It is a day March 8 to celebrate women's accomplishments and to continue to inspire change. The Google daily logo is quite nice, hit on it and see. This shot is in a shore town park. It is just a light display to light up the night. My 71 year old friend was leaving to do church work in the dominican republic and she brought me to her favourite places. The words mean I AM in English. Perhaps it is to prevent us from hurling ourselves into the water because it was so cold this winter, but we cant because it is all ice. Anyway I thought I am in lights would be a nice Women'sDay shot. I have not yet loaded up the camera, the dog, and go driving to find my pictures. It is warming up and the cardinal is singing, two months late, but he started so spring is right around the corner.

@cejaanderson Hi, I replied but did not add your name, so have a peek at Je Suis again and the answer is there.

@cejaanderson I also live in a French province and I am bilingual, so it does not really matter what language something is in.
