Timber Wolf, cayote pelts.

Pelts.
Is the timber wolf protected in Canada? Here I think killing them is allowed only if they pose a threat to livestock. I don't know if the pelts can be sold. Now with coyotes, they sometimes offer a bounty of their pelts. Interesting photo.

All of these pelts are for sale. This is a Cree trading post. Big hunting and fishing up in Northern Ontario. I will have to look up Timber wolves. Does the pelt look like another type of wolf?

In Canada, do the tribes have their own governments as they do in the USA? I know that sometimes tribes can gain permission to hunt and fish in times and places that others cannot.
