St Pacome

The first cross was erected by the parish priest in 1832. He hoped to stop the cholera epidemic at that time. It was sweeping the St. Lawrence river valley brought by immigrants from all over Europe.

@cejaanderson The first one was made of wood and later replaced by this metal one in 1951. Probably had to be fixed a few times when in wood.
