My get-pushed challenge this week was given to me by my friend, Paul Myers, was to photograph smoke. I thought, no problem and set it up with a cheering section. Lesson 1 - do not use SMOKELESS candles and that is all we have. Oh well, tomorrow is another day and stores will be open.
Retired educator - taught mathematics in high school, went back to graduate school, worked in research labs, and finally went back and taught computer science...
incense sticks cones make much better smoke than candles normally and they do not have an open flame. Also tried this last year and was much more successful with my iphone than my dslr. Which means I was doing a lot wrong.
Oh my, now that is sort of funny. Nope smokeless candles won't work. :) I agree with Paula, incense sticks work. That is what I used when trying to photograph smoke.
too funny. i love your cheering section. i just noticed that you have 999 photos, does that mean tomorrow's photo will be #1000?!? or do you have an extra for today? awesome milestone, Harry!!
